Thanks for your patience this month and this delayed posting.

Finally, after much ado you are able to purchase this months Technique Treat. Hopefully you will have as much fun as I have had creating these delightful Techniques. They can be a bit messy but Hey! that’s part of the fun!

We have teamed the delicate looking “Falling in Love” Stamp Set from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue,  with Marbled Papers, one using  Shaving Cream  the other Marbles, you can’t go wrong.

This set just begs to be used for all those occasions requiring a special look such as wedding, engagement, anniversary or a  gift for your best friend.

We have our usual 4 cards for you to make but this month  3 techniques, one using Foam Shaving Cream and two for the Marbles, or sinkers or anything round.

Wedding Bliss

I was asked to make a Wedding Card for a friend and with so many beautiful choices in the current catalogue my hardest task was deciding what to do.

I was eager to use the delightful Copper Foil Sheets  as I had been  a playing  with the Copper embossing powder and loved it. It makes such a refreshing change from the silver and gold.

Next I sought out the Botanical Builder framelits as I haven’t used them enough yet! Having fallen in love with all the Pinterest images for cards made from them I have been sadly remiss in using them enough myself.

Finally I chose the the perfect sentiment … Wedding Wishes… from Rose Wonder Stamp Set which was one of the other choices for the card. wedding-wishes

Having cut the flowers all out, it was just a quick assembly with some Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue dots, adding the Copper Embossed sentiment and the insert  and card complete.

For what looks like a detailed card it was really quicker then some of the technique cards I make.

I just love the copper Sheets. Make sure that you punch your flowers from the base sheet that is behind the card front. No one sees behind the card and it saves a lot of foil!!

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. Love the shine!
