No where really, just taking some thinking, sorting, weekend away and general malaise time plus I think I have won the Guinness Book of Records for procrastination several times over. OK now put up your hands if you are a procrastinator as well! I know I’m not alone.
Some of you have been waiting for the Crafty Creations class cards so here are some. More next post.
In no special order some images from August and September. One of the class favorites was the Christmas Note Pad and matching pen using the Be Merry DSP, from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue. I know we have the Holiday Catalogue – Creativity Delivered – out now but don’t forget some of the lovelies in the annual one as well.
Next month is an opportunity to receive for FREE a pack of DSP when you order 3 pkts or more. To get you started there is an example of use with the Fresh Forals Paper stack and the Label Me Pretty Stamp.
Now before time is out and child minding arrives I will go. It is the school holidays and Nanna is in demand.
Come back to see the rest of them. Soon
PS You can also see them at the Caloundra Community Facebook Page.
Crafty creations was three days ago and it only seems like yesterday that I was posting the card for the week before and now here are another set, well two really.
This week we finally finished off the Pop boxes that were started 4 weeks ago. We would never have been able to make these without the great video from Gemma Clarke .
There are others for POP up Box on YouTube but this is the one I used and credit where credit is due.
We used the Carousel Birthday Stamp Set and the matching Cupcakes and Carousel DSP and lots of Very Vanilla CS. Whilst these four ladies were working on these the other two were happily making cards they had missed out on previously. Thank goodness I had a couple of kits left over.
The box folds into the tray at the front then when you draw on the ribbon, the recipient gets a surprise as the box pops out.
The other card for the 3rd march 2017 I have also CASED from Pinterest and it belonged to Connie Barbara and again there are several versions using the Owl Builder Punch. Some have the owl ears up some have them down both look good, depends on the manufacturer of the guitar!!
Ours look pretty cool great for teenager or avid music fan. The sentiments were from Crazy about You Stamp Set and the stippled background One Wild Ride. We also colored them with Wink of Stella to get that bit of Rock sparkle.
Because today is the beginning of the new Catalogue and all the bloggers are doing this!! Letting you know what a great time it is to purchase stamps and get some genuine free stuff. You can order from any current Stampin’ Up! products to build up your $90.00 from the Occasions Catalogue, the Holiday Carry Over, the Clearance Rack and the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. Then you will qualify for free product.
What do they look like? Download the PDF from the Sale-A-Bration image below.
But that’s not all. The other great offer is for you to join Stampin’ Up! and reap the benefits. Ask me about it!
Stay posted to see what I have made the coming weeks from my freebies.

Winter is almost over here, and my birthday has come and gone, but you can still take advantage of some quick cards by purchasing this months Pretty Paper Patterns, featuring A Little Foxy DSP and make some birthday cards for your friends.
Of course you can also use the template provided and use any DSP to create your own spectacular cards. Just pop over here to purchase for $3.20(AUD) all the instructions to create 3 cards, including measurements in both metric and imperial. How good is that!
Speaking of DSP I created this little fella using the By the Shore DSP and the new stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue, Day at the Beach. (Sneak Peek )
This stamp set is a going to be a great little addition to your collection. Whether you call them thongs-Australia, jangles – New Zealand, slops – South Africa, tsinelas – Philippines, zori –Japan, and various translations of flip flops in many other countries, I am happy we have some to use.
I can see some lovely Christmas cards already, Santa on the surfboard and thongs on the beach! Tinsel in the Palm Tree and bucket and spade underneath! We have a hot Christmas here in Queensland, so this is perfect for us. Not to forget the hat, dolphin, umbrella, ice pole, and there’s more in the set. Roll on September so you can get your own.
Make sure you pop over here to get your PPP for this month.
Well this is a first. Trying to create this of on my tiny phone. Beloved computer off at the computer doctors. So sad! Been giving me grief for a while now so fingers crossed it’s s not terminal!!
At Crafty Creations we created this Christmas Card. I must confess that we used retired products mostly and a Merry Christmas die that found it’s way into my stash from a friend. The background dots came from the Swirly Birds with silver embossed stars from Made with Love. The ladies were kept busy snip, snip, snipping the trees and presents before popping up with Stamping UpDimensional then highlighting with Wink of Stella and Diamenties. The tree was from retired DSP Home for Christmas, you may still have some in your stash?
OK I stalled here as couldn’t watermark the images from class so now we are back on the computer I will finish this blog off. Wasn’t terminal just a clean up for the computer.
It was interesting to see the different aspects that each participant added to make their card their own. We had Embossed dots and yellow stars, highlighted holly and diamante , more parcels, different tree star and highlighted stars on the top. Can you spot all the differences?
No class this week as I am preparing for an open house and flying to Melbourne with my grandson Finley Coll and family courtesy of Sunrise.
By now most people are enjoying the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue. I hope you have your copy!
One of the many things I love are all the new DSP papers. For those who are familiar with my humble blog you will have noticed a bit of Pop of Pinksplattered here and there and today’s card is no exception.
I created this little cutie a while ago but wanted to share it with you as it features an Elephant and a Mouse which is from Love You lots Stamp Set. He is one of the set that you can choose as an exclusive hostess only gift when you host a party or workshop. I think they are rather cute and the papers just make him shine.
Sometimes there’s a part of me that is just not satisfied with my cards.
I have made these for our Crafty Creations on Friday but let me talk you through my personal dissatisfaction with each one.
This was my first card. I didn’t put in a moon and not happy with the trees overlapping each other at the bottom Right Hand corner. To me they are looking squashed and not shadowy enough.
Happy with this before I sliced it. Then didn’t like the bulge on the side of the moon. It would have been fine but a gremlin managed to make a blob on the card (not that easy to see here but under the diamentie below the moon and under the sentiment). Wet ones, sneaky glue or a weeing gecko have a lot to answer for!! I wanted to use an elongated sentiment not an oval one and It wouldn’t cover it all.
So to take 3
So not to be put off and still striving for personal satisfaction I had another go. After all the inks were still on the desk. Now this is fine but in the spirit of this Blog I could have made a better moon and more dappled sky. My Right hand tree seems to have been made slightly too narrow and is disappearing off the card compared to second card.
Must say I am loving the new In colours Dapper Denim – the sky and the Emerald Envy – front grass. Have you purchased yours yet?
Well at least I know someone reads all the way to the bottom of the blog!
Apologies everyone. Yesterday I mad a mistake of saying the Pram was on the stamp set Made with Lovewhen I should have said Something for Baby. I did have the Made with love on my desk and used the cute animals and sayings for the inside of the cards and didn’t check as had stamped the Pram and put away before running through the big shot.
I really am trying to keep the desk organised as I craft, and not let the creative urge run ahead of me. Do you end up with bits on your desk everywhere?
