Crafty Creations 22nd July

We have Rachel Zmolik to thank for this weeks card. She made several cards using the new Shooting Star and Sliding Star Framelit Dies , then as happens with Pinterest  Gail discovered it and requested we make one. Always happy to oblige.

We changed it a bit, adding the sun from the Swirly Birds Stamp Set, a couple of birds, a greeting and an coloured tree.

We used some buttons behind each of the wheels so they were hidden well but still allowed the bike to move along the curve. Because they all used different inks the cards have a unique individual look. The two cards on the left have their card fronts mounted on green backgrounds – a happy mistake that turned out well when the stamping was started on the wrong piece of card stock!  My little birds on the top card are there to cover an extra dob of ink that crept into the wrong place! I love that about card making. Mistakes are easily rectified and sometimes add more to the card as does the sun on the top left hand card and the sponged background. It look great.

Crafty Creations July 15th

Well done! Well done! Well done!

What more can be said. Today my group of ladies excelled themselves and created a slider card, not a single but a DOUBLE!

Of course I won’t say it went without a hitch or two but they all managed to finish enough to maybe add some finer details at home later. Just a bit of homework!!

Look what they made!!
