Just a little share today of a cute (Well I think so) birthday card for a friends granddaughters 4th Birthday. The commission was dinosaurs and pink.
There are quiet a few stampsets here and some dies.

Just posting some of this years cards for Crafty Creations for you to see. My computer is in need of replacement as the whole of the row starting with Z has gone on the blink and to type those letters I have to use the on screen keyboard which makes typing painful and time consuming.
.
These were for March the 9th.
March 16th.
Marh 22nd
Think that about brings us up to date let me know if I have missed any for the year.
Cheers Naomi
This week the class was divided into two groups, with each group working on a different card. I decided to do this as the stamps from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue are so beautiful but some take a while with double stamping and showcasing different techniques. Our class time was running out and nothing spoils a good crafting session than feeling under pressure to hurriedly stamp and pass things on.
They made an Eclipse card using the Happy Birthday Die and the Epic Celebrations. Quiet a delicate operation as there are many little pieces to glue back into the card and as sometimes happens it didn’t all go to plan. But as you can see all the cards look great. One has the Happy Birthday removed and not replaced and one has the Happy Birthday recut in Bermuda Bay.
.
This was the original and so much fun to make.
Our second card featured the Lots of Lavender and 3 ladies made this one.
It required some double stamping and embossing with the Petal Pair Textured Embossing Folder which is tucked into the side of page 23 in the Occasions Catalogue.
They will all swap next week, so come back then and see what the two groups have done.
Even though I email images to each member before the class sometimes just seeing the real article gives off more ideas of how the stamp set can be used so we will see if we have any new creative ideas appear next week.
Till then Naomi.
Whilst these little treats really do look good enough to eat that’s not what we need to do with them. Valentines day is round the corner but not prominently celebrated in my Crafty Creations group so most ladies opted for Happy Birthday.
We had one Valentine and a contrasting blue set for a ladies husband’s birthday. They tell me he does have a sweet tooth!
I think the tasty delights made us all hungry as we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea at our favorite coffee shop after class.
I do give thanks to Connie Tumm from Pinterest for the inspiration a long time ago.
Some of the products used are retired but I’m sure that if you are attempting this you will be able to substitute something else. The doughnuts were popped up on dimensionals, Then they were covered with acetate so you could make it into a shaker card if you liked. The Whisper White frame was popped up as well.
You may have the right size punches unfortunately I didn’t. Although I did use a ½” punch for the centers. Have fun and leave me a pic on my Facebook Page if you make one.
Naomi.
Product List
Hi all!
Have you been reading some negative comments about this stamp set and dies that it’s too difficult? Well we used the Let The Good Times Roll and Thrill Ride Pop Up and our little group proved today that that is so wrong. Everyone managed to complete their card in the 2 hrs allotted.
Mind you I did do a fair amount of prep, stamping and cutting out the cars, balloons, presents, flags and banners. Just as well I did because we had 6 of our regular team, 2 new ladies and one marvelous young man and his carer.
His name was Ben and he was delighted to create the card for his Mum. We even found an “I love you Mum” stamp in the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set. We weren’t able to take a photo of Ben’s card as he became a bit tired and left when he had completed his card. Well done Ben. Hope to see you again.
For the front of the card we used the Lift Me Up stamp set so that half the class could be working on the front of the card and the others on the insert. We tied it in with a air balloon above the roller coaster.
So if today is your day why not have a go yourselves. The children I have given this card too have loved it and the older young at heart as well.
Take care, travel safe till next post

I have just made some recycled shelves for my stamp cases and have used some new ones for my new Blender Pens , Pearls, and various glitter dots.
What other uses can you think of for these little guys?
Till next week
Naomi.
Why Nanny Stamp? Well I have 9 grandchildren and two in particular take up a lot of my time and this year we all thought it was time for “Nanny” to recreate herself. So what are the two things I love most (Besides husband) being a Nanny and Stamping!
They agreed and this is my Avatar
Not for grand publication just on Roblox – other nannies will know all about that I’m sure. It’s just an online game place. So if you come across me say Hi!
Not sure about the Pizza necklace but love the hair. Keeps the children happy.
One thing that hasn’t changed for 2018 is my Crafty Creations Classes at the Caloundra Community Center in Queensland Australia. We are a small group, with one new lady, of 11 women who meet every Friday to have fun, make a card or craft item and then share a cuppa at Myrtles Pantry.
Tomorrow is Australia Day so no cards but these are our creations for last week. We used the free stamp set Heartfelt blooms from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.
The stamp was inked up with Cherry Cobbler before randomly stamping on Whisper White CS. Then we cut it into 3 unequal parts and mounted it on to Basic Black CS. A piece of Emerald Envy Ribbon was tied across the front with matching bow before being adhered to Emerald Envy CS.
To complete the card the sentiment from the same stamp set was inked in Emerald Envy then run through the big shot with the Stitched Oval Framelit and using Sticky dots tucked under the bow. Just a few pearls finished the card.
This stamp set is the first for Stampin’ Up! using their new line of Distinktive Stamps (Patent Pending) which are stamps that lay down the inks at different levels to get a photographic image.
Some tips on using these stamps can be found here, just click the words Stamping With Photo Realistic Stamps(1)
No where really, just taking some thinking, sorting, weekend away and general malaise time plus I think I have won the Guinness Book of Records for procrastination several times over. OK now put up your hands if you are a procrastinator as well! I know I’m not alone.
Some of you have been waiting for the Crafty Creations class cards so here are some. More next post.
In no special order some images from August and September. One of the class favorites was the Christmas Note Pad and matching pen using the Be Merry DSP, from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue. I know we have the Holiday Catalogue – Creativity Delivered – out now but don’t forget some of the lovelies in the annual one as well.
Next month is an opportunity to receive for FREE a pack of DSP when you order 3 pkts or more. To get you started there is an example of use with the Fresh Forals Paper stack and the Label Me Pretty Stamp.
Now before time is out and child minding arrives I will go. It is the school holidays and Nanna is in demand.
Come back to see the rest of them. Soon
Cheers Naomi.
PS You can also see them at the Caloundra Community Facebook Page.
Better late than never! Been a busy week with thelast weeks of Plastic free July. Don’t think I came close really. It’s amazing when you stop to really watch how much plastic there is in your life. Cerainly no more supermarket bags for this girl!
What have I been busy with. One adventure is sewing bags for Boomerang bags, where we re use donated materials and create free bags for anyone.
If you don’t know about them head to their facebook page and see for yourself. Each bag makes a difference.
My other activities have centered around a general craft room tidy and a bedroom paint out – not quiet finished yet.
So last week the the Crafty Creations made these lovely cards using the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set.
Hope you enjoy them.
Happy Crafting
Naomi
